Created by AntiqueShawls Inc. , India, this shawl has
interwoven with various colours into the scarf which pixels
regulate the brightness of each type of diode and impart a different
shade to shawls/scarfs.
The concept behind Wearable Synthesis is that modular clothing pieces
can use input and output sensors, actuators and processors to
communicate various signals, while preserving fashion's aesthetics.
In one prototype, shawls/scarfs within an elegant skirt's pleats
change the looks according to the user's body, and also pulsate
according to the pace at which the wearer walks.
shawls/scarfs on the back of a matching jacket also enhance your body
looks, and shawls/scarfs within the jacket project out when it is
unzippered, several garments can be layered and will communicate
amongst themselves, enabling a fashion statement.
